[Trailer] X-Men: Days of Future Past

That nerd screech you heard earlier today was just a normal reaction to the next big comic book movie on the horizon. After being revitalized by prequel/reboot X-Men: First Class, the franchise suddenly had some interesting avenues it could explore but most were surprised when it was announced they’d tackle the legendary Days of Future Past storyline helmed by Bryan Singer and mixing the old cast with the new one.

Personally, I think this might be a more daunting task than The Avengers because of how established the characters are in the old and new iterations. This first trailer gives us a glimpse into the ominous storyline with plenty of glimpse at the returning cast members, more so than the more recent incarnations. It’s not heavy on effects, most aren’t ready, which actually benefits the trailer getting me even more intrigued, check it out below…

[Trailer] RoboCop

The first trailer for Jose Padilha's upcoming RoboCop remake is out and it gives us plenty to chew on in terms of visuals and tone.

Personally, I think this one feels just like the insipid and soulless Total Recall remake from last year...

[Trailer] Iron Man 3

The newest trailer for Iron Man 3 is out and it looks pretty impressive. The Avengers kind of made you forget about the overstuffed 2nd film.

This new trailer looks like it really ups the ante and gives us hope we’ll have a better entry this go around. Lots of wonderful tidbits offered throughout, check out the trailer and enjoy.

[Trailer] PACIFIC RIM

The official trailer for Guillermo Del Toro’s Pacific Rim has been released and it’s full of geektastic scenes.

It is a bit strange hearing Charlie Hunnam narrate the trailer, if you’re a fan of Sons of Anarchy you’ll know what I mean, but the visual look strong even if the CGI is just a tad suspect.

Having Idris Elba close out the trailer with a great rallying speech was a wonderful choice.

I’m a big Del Toro fan to begin with and this looks like he’s just going to be having a great time delivering a monster movie he wants to make….

Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro teams up with Legendary Pictures to bring audiences a unique take on the monster film with this sci-fi production. Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) stars as a washed out pilot of a series of robots called Jaegers, which are put into production when Earth invaded by a species of giant monsters, the Kaijus. The Brothers Bloom's Rinko Kikuchi co-stars as a trainee whom Hunnam is psychically paired with in order to pilot the last beacon of hope - a decommisioned Jaeger aimed to stop the Kaijus once and for all. Thor's Idris Elba leads the rest of the starring cast, which includes Charlie Day. Rob Kazinsky and Ron Perlman. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, Rovi

Release Date: Jul 12, 2013

Genres: Sci-Fi/Fantasy

Director: Guillermo del Toro

Cast: Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi, Ron Perlman

[Trailer] This Is 40

Trailer for the sort of sequel to Knocked Up is out, looks cute and funny but after the dour Funny People his shine has worn off a tad. He’s produced far more than he’s directed, we’ll see if he can get back in the zone. The cast is great so cautious excitement is in place…

[Trailer] The Dark Knight Rises

The full trailer for The Dark Knight Rises is finally out on the web. I saw it on IMAX this weekend before Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and after watching it again I’ve had the same reaction.

The hairs on my arm just stand up as I witness the epic-ness that on display…..

[Trailer] The Amazing Spiderman HD - Official

After all the bootlegs running around as of late, it looks like Sony has just done the smart thing and just release the teaser for the Spiderman reboot officially.

I’ll have to be honest, Spiderman has never been my favorite character and the Sam Raimi films, the first 2, were enjoyable but never did much for me.

Considering this whole story has just been done 10 years ago, I can’t say I’m looking forward to this and after watching it, I’m fairly underwhelmed.

I like the cast a lot but it just doesn’t peak my interest very much, of course I’ll still watch it when it comes out next year….
