The first teaser trailer for Gareth Edwards redux of Godzilla is out and it does its job perfectly, setting up tone and atmosphere.
We don’t get a clear view of Godzilla but it sure looks like it’ll actually be Godzilla and not some unrecognizable beast like the 1998 film, which also had an excellent teaser trailer I might add. For now, I’ll give Gareth Edward the benefit of the doubt…..

DeleteThe trailer looks very impressive! I am not sure how well the film to do at the domestic box office though since Pacific Rim did not do that well and that movie was awesome. Hopefully the movie will not disappoint and Godzilla actually looks a lot like the classic Godzilla. I need to watch a couple of the classic Godzilla movies before this one comes out though.

I hope it turns out well, the trailer is fairly impressive so hopefully it'll be solid and do some good business.
