[Trailer] The Wolverine
It won’t take much to wash off the horrible taste from X-men Origins: Wolverine. It was probably one of the worse comic movies I’ve sat through. So while another go around with this character seems unnecessary at the very least they can’t do any worse than before, this trailer gives a glimmer of hope especially with quick shots of Silver Samurai among others. Still, after the last debacle I’m still very wary…

I'm kinda looking forward to it. I do wish that this would've been the original plan for a Wolverine origin movie instead of what we got instead, since it has the potential to be very interesting. But then, if Origins was meant to be their take on the awesome Weapon X storyline, I'm pretty cautious that they'll fuck this up somehow.

DeleteThis trailer looks great, except for the dodgy CGI on the Train fight. While I am wary after the his other movie, First Class was amazing and hope that Fox doesn't screw this one up. I am optimist about it.

First Class was a needed gem after the last 2 crapfest (Origin & Last Stand). I hope they continue the positive upswing!
DeleteWolverine's origin film was great, I loved every second and thought the origin story was very well done. The worst one Marvel ever did was Captain America. I think it's probably because he is the weakest, shallowest of their heroes. He's so cornfed and irritating and his movie was a giant crashing bore. Whedon made CA somewhat cool. Captain America reminded me painfully of Warren Beatty's ridiculous Dick Tracey.
ReplyDeleteOrigin I just despised, didn't do anything for me. I agree about Captain America though, he's too bland a character, a relic of the 50's.
