The trailer for the upcoming sequel offers up similarly striking visuals with scant details about the story. We do get a glance at Eva Green’s villainess and some impressive looking sea set battles. We'll have to wait till March 2014 to see if it comes together as a film.
I absolutely loved the first 300. I am tentatively excited for this.

I enjoyed the first one as well even with it's warts. 2nd one looks like it's going to deliver similiar style and action, should be fun.

DeleteWasn't a fan of 300 and the recent Immortals was mediocre even worse. I was thinking this would be a prequel according to what I read, I suppose it is not.

300 has far from perfect and Immortals was a big let down but I'm kind of looking forward to this one. You are correct, this is a straight up sequel.

This will be a good trailer for the cinema!
